"How Does Your Garden Grow?"

Pastor Ron Zielske

Introduction to the scriptures for July 16th

God’s word is like the rain that waters the earth and brings forth vegetation. It is also like the sower who scatters seed indiscriminately. Our lives are like seeds sown in the earth. Even from what appears to be little, dormant, or dead, God promises a harvest. At the Lord’s table we are fed with the bread of life, that we may bear fruit in the world.

Readings and Psalm

Isaiah 55:10-13   Growth of the word to accomplish God’s purpose

Psalm 65:1-13    Your paths overflow with plenty. (Ps. 65:11)

Romans 8:1-11    Live according to the Spirit

Matthew 13:1-9, 18-23      The parable of the sower and the seed

July 23rd is Pastor Ron's last day with us

Plan to attend service and the gathering to say goodbye.

Building Update

Sierra Builders has built a fence around the property in anticipation of beginning construction as soon as we get the Building Permit.

Colored building elevations (drawings of the outside) are in the back of the church with a sample of the stone for the exterior. We may have to add some vertical stone features to break up the walls a little.

We hope to have the Building Permit soon. Please pray for all the people involved in helping us build our new church home.
