Through its participation in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, Lutheran Advocacy Ministry in Nevada, and Religious Alliance in Nevada, Lord of Mercy is able to address important social issues in the halls of congress, at the White House, and at Nevada's legislature in Carson City.

Special areas of interest include:

• Prison Reform
• Welfare Reform implementation
